911 Targa 4S

2014–2019Targa

The Targa 4S is the quicker of the two automatic-roof 991s, using the larger engine of its Carrera 4S sibling: 400 PS (294 kW; 395 hp) and 440 Nm (325 lb-ft) from the 3.8-litre naturally aspirated flat-six until 2015, then 420 PS (309 kW; 414 hp) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) from the 3.0-litre twin-turbo. PTM all-wheel drive, the wide Carrera 4 body and the 19-second glass-and-soft-top roof mechanism are shared with the Targa 4. The facelift car records 0–100 km/h in 4.2 s with PDK (4.0 s with Sport Chrono), 301 km/h (187 mph) and 1,600 kg (3,527 lb), making it the heaviest Carrera-line 991 short of the Turbo.
