911 Targa 4

2014–2019Targa

Unveiled in Detroit in January 2014, the 991 Targa returned to the 1965 recipe: a wide fixed bar instead of B-pillars, a roof panel above the front seats and a wraparound glass dome, all driven automatically in 19 seconds as the rear glass lifts and the soft top folds behind the seats. Targa 4 and Targa 4S are all-wheel drive only. The 991.1 used the 350 PS (345 hp) 3.4-litre; from 2016 the Targa 4 took the 370 PS (365 hp) 3.0-litre twin-turbo, with PASM standard and rear-axle steering optional. It reaches 100 km/h in 4.5 s (PDK) and 287 km/h (178 mph) at 1,590 kg (3,505 lb).
