911 Targa 4 GTS

2021–2024Targa

The third of the five 992.1 GTS models, and the only one that keeps the Targa's extra mass over the equivalent coupé. It uses the same 353 kW (480 PS; 473 hp) and 570 Nm (420 lb-ft) twin-turbo as the Carrera GTS, all-wheel drive, and either the eight-speed PDK or a seven-speed manual with a shortened lever. Unusually for a GTS, Porsche gave it the Targa 4S chassis — including PASM, rear-axle steering and the roof's structural weight — which costs both performance and refinement: 0–100 km/h in 3.5 seconds with Sport Chrono and 308 km/h (191 mph), from 1,685 kg (3,715 lb) DIN. Launched in June 2021 alongside the other GTS models, and the basis of the 750-unit 911 Edition 50 Years Porsche Design.
