911 Carrera

2011–2019Coupé · Cabriolet

The 911 Carrera opened the third all-new 911 platform in 2011 with a naturally aspirated 3.4-litre flat-six of 350 PS (257 kW; 345 hp) and 390 Nm (288 lb-ft), paired with the world's first seven-speed manual or an optional seven-speed PDK; it needed 4.6 s (PDK) to 100 km/h and reached 287 km/h (178 mph). The 2016 facelift (991.2) replaced that engine with a 3.0-litre twin-turbo six of 370 PS (272 kW; 365 hp) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft), cutting the sprint to 4.4 s while using about 12 per cent less fuel. Coupé and Cabriolet, rear-wheel drive, with PASM and rear-axle steering optional. Figures shown are 991.2 specification.
