911 Carrera T

2017–2019Coupé

Launched in October 2017, the Carrera T — T for Touring — revives the purist brief of the 1968 911 T. It takes the base 3.0-litre twin-turbo with 370 PS (272 kW; 365 hp) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft), adds a shorter final drive, a mechanical rear differential lock, PASM sports suspension dropped 20 mm, a weight-optimised Sport Chrono package, a shortened red-pattern shift lever and Sport-Tex seats. Weight falls to 1,425 kg (3,142 lb) — 20 kg below a comparable Carrera — through lighter glass, door pull loops, reduced sound deadening and deleted rear seats and PCM, both refittable free of charge. Rear-axle steering and PDK were optional.
