2019–2024Coupé · Cabriolet

Joined the range in July 2019 as the entry point to the eighth generation, nine months after the Carrera S and 4S debuted in Los Angeles. It uses the same 2,981 cc twin-turbo flat-six as the S car but with model-specific turbochargers — smaller turbine and compressor wheels — to make 283 kW (385 PS; 379 hp) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) from 1,950 rpm. Only an eight-speed PDK was offered: the manual gearbox was reserved for the S, the 4S and later the Carrera T. Coupé and Cabriolet, rear-wheel drive, on 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels with smaller brakes than the S, plus the 10.9-inch PCM display, Wet Mode and PASM.
