911 Carrera GTS T-Hybrid

2024–presentCoupé · Cabriolet

The first road-legal 911 with a performance hybrid, revealed on 28 May 2024 and in production from June. A single wastegate-free eTurbo replaces the old twin-turbo arrangement: its motor sits between compressor and turbine, spinning the shaft instantly and doubling as an 11 kW generator. The 3.6-litre boxer (bore grew 6 mm, stroke 4.6 mm) is 110 mm shallower because the belt drive is gone, freeing space for the inverter and DC-DC converter. The PDK motor adds up to 150 Nm and 40 kW from idle. Nürburgring time: 7:16.93, some 8.7 s quicker than the 992.1 GTS despite 47 kg more mass. Only 50 kg of the hybrid is real penalty.
