With the Carrera S gone PDK-only, the T became the only three-pedal 911 below the GT3 — and for the first time the manual-only model is also offered as a Cabriolet. It uses the base Carrera's 2,981 cc twin-turbo six (394 PS / 388 hp, 450 Nm) but sheds weight: 1,490 kg DIN in Coupé form makes it the lightest 992.2, 30 kg below the Carrera. Rear-axle steering, PASM dampers tuned specifically for the T and an open-pore laminated-walnut gear knob come as standard, and 70 per cent of 992.1 T buyers already chose the manual. At 4.5 s to 100 km/h it is the slowest 992.2 Coupé, which is rather the point.
