911 GT3 RS

not announced as of 2026-10Coupé

PLACEHOLDER — NO SUCH CAR HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED. No 992.2 911 GT3 RS exists as an announced production model as of 1 October 2026; only camouflaged prototypes have been reported. The roster entry is retained (roster ids are stable) but every specification field is null, so the specification plate renders a dash plus the note that explains it and the site cannot present this car with real numbers. What is on record: prototypes of a 992.2-phase GT3 RS have been photographed testing at the Nürburgring since mid-2025, most recently in September 2026, with a revised front bumper, canards, a wider diffuser and a three-element active rear wing retaining DRS. Spy photography and soundtrack recordings have led outlets to conclude forced induction is likely, with power estimates from 650 hp upward, but Porsche has only ever said that a turbocharged or electrified future GT3 is possible. Reveal dates reported for August 2026 did not materialise, and the current on-sale car remains the 992.1 GT3 RS (386 kW / 525 PS / 518 hp at 8,500 rpm) — that figure belongs to the 992.1 and is deliberately not repeated in this record. If and when Porsche announces the car, this entry becomes a normal variant; until then it is a hole in the lineup, not a car.

Numbers as published

Every figure below is quoted from the sources listed at the foot of the page. A dash means the number was never published — it is never estimated.

Engine

—

Not published: 992.2 GT3 RS engine, displacement, aspiration, power, torque, transmission, acceleration, top speed, weight and production all unverified

Power

—

Not published: Decision (2026-10-03): the variant is KEPT rather than deleted, because roster ids are stable and deleting it would break any inbound link to /911/992-2/gt3-rs; the compromise is that engine, power, torque, acceleration, top speed, weight, drivetrain, transmission and production are all null and `years` reads 'not announced as of 2026-10', so no spec figure can be rendered as fact

0–100 km/h

—

Not published: No 992.2 911 GT3 RS has been officially announced or revealed as of 2026-10-01 — only camouflaged prototypes have been reported (latest: Nürburgring spy shots, 23/09/2026)

Top speed

—

Not published: Porsche has not published an official reveal date or model-year designation for a 992.2 GT3 RS

Weight

—

Not published: The 992.1 GT3 RS figures that used to sit in this record's engine and power strings (3,996 cc, 525 PS / 518 hp) have been removed so the placeholder cannot display another car's numbers; they remain on 992-1/gt3-rs, where they belong

Drivetrain

—

Not published: Media: data/images.json keys `992-2/gt3-rs` to photographs of the 992.1 GT3 RS, so this placeholder currently shows a real but wrong-generation car in its hero image and gallery. ASSET-IMAGES should blank or re-point that entry until a 992.2 car exists
