911 Targa 4S

2025–presentTarga

In the 911 Targa's 60th anniversary year Porsche launched a 473 hp Targa 4S alongside the Carrera 4S Coupé and Cabriolet, giving the Targa two modern choices: the 4S and the T-Hybrid Targa 4 GTS. It carries the same upgraded 3.0-litre twin-turbo six and eight-speed PDK as the 4S, with the same enlarged GTS brakes, silver Sport Exhaust tailpipes and reworked dampers. Unlike the 4S Coupé, the Targa gets rear-axle steering as standard equipment. The roof module, with its magnesium structure and 19-second automatic fabric-and-glass cycle, remains the reason the car is roughly 100 kg heavier than the Coupé — and about a tenth slower to 100 km/h.
