911 Turbo GT

2018CoupéImagery pending

The 911 Turbo GT is a 991.2-generation Turbo derivative that Porsche never announced in a press release, a model page or a technical data sheet: newsroom.porsche.com carries no Turbo GT article at all (searched 2026-10-03 through the newsroom search index) and Porsche's own archived US technical-specification list jumps from the 2018 911 Carrera T straight to the 2019 Speedster and GT3 RS. There is no Wikipedia article about the car in any language, and Porsche Cars North America never offered it, so there is no US press material or configurator entry either. The car is real — it can be photographed at Klassikstadt Frankfurt — and the widely circulated description is a lightly modified 991.2 Turbo coupé with a 3.8-litre twin-turbo flat-six, 645 PS and either a six-speed manual or the seven-speed PDK, good for 330 km/h. None of those figures could be traced to a fetchable primary source in this session, so every specification field on this record is deliberately null: the variant is published as a disclosed gap rather than as a car with numbers. What it needs next is a citable Porsche specification, not a better-sounding guess.

Numbers as published

Every figure below is quoted from the sources listed at the foot of the page. A dash means the number was never published — it is never estimated.

Engine

—

Not published: No primary Porsche source is reachable for this car: newsroom.porsche.com has no 911 Turbo GT article (searched 2026-10-03) and Porsche published no model page or technical data sheet — the launch seems never to have been published on the newsroom, so engine, power, torque, acceleration, top speed, weight, drivetrain and transmission are all null and must not be filled from secondary retellings without a citation

Power

—

Not published: The figures in circulation — 3.8-litre twin-turbo flat-six, 645 PS, 800 Nm, 0–100 km/h 2.9 s, 330 km/h, six-speed manual or seven-speed PDK, model year 2018 — come from secondary retellings only and are recorded here as context, not as data; the '2018' model year itself is unconfirmed against Porsche

0–100 km/h

—

Not published: Production total unknown: Porsche published no run length for the Turbo GT and Porsche Cars North America never offered the car, so no US press material exists to triangulate a number

Top speed

—

Not published: Media: data/images.json still keys `turbo-gt` (and `992-1/turbo-gt`) to photographs of 992 Turbo and Turbo S cars, fetched for the 992.1 Turbo GT placeholder that was removed as a non-existent model. Until ASSET-IMAGES re-keys or deletes that entry, scripts/merge-assets.ts will attach 992 Turbo photographs to this 991.2 car

Weight

—

Not published: Media: one licensed Commons photograph of a Porsche 911 Turbo GT does exist — File:Porsche 911 Turbo GT, Klassikstadt, Frankfurt am Main (P1032540).jpg, CC BY-SA, uploaded by MB-one, 11 December 2024 (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Porsche_911_Turbo_GT,_Klassikstadt,_Frankfurt_am_Main_(P1032540).jpg) — but its caption does not state the model year, so it must be verified as a 991.2 car before it is used
