911 Speedster

1995–1998 (2 cars)Speedster

Porsche never catalogued a 993 Speedster. Two were built by Porsche Exclusive: a dark green Tiptronic S car with 17-inch wheels for Ferdinand Alexander Porsche's 60th birthday in 1995, and a wide-body, 18-inch manual car for Jerry Seinfeld, converted from a Cabriolet in 1998. Both use the 3.6-litre Carrera flat-six with the roof chopped down and a redesigned interior; a few more Cabriolets were converted by outside coachbuilders. A third claim of a 2000 build appears in Porsche's own Exclusive history. Factory performance, weight and torque figures were never published, so those fields are left empty rather than guessed.
