911 Turbo Cabriolet

1995Cabriolet

Before the twin-turbo Coupé arrived, Porsche Exclusive quietly built fourteen 993 Turbo Cabriolets during 1995. Each carried the 360 PS single-turbo 3.6-litre engine and five-speed manual gearbox of the 964 Turbo 3.6, rear-wheel drive, and that car's fixed rear wing, mounted on the open 993 body. At DM 89,500 — a 62 per cent premium over a standard 993 Cabriolet — they were among the priciest 993s of all. No official weight, acceleration or top-speed figures were ever published, so those fields stay empty rather than invented. Fourteen cars makes it one of the rarest 993 variants.
