911 America Roadster

Cabriolet

No 996 America Roadster was ever built. The name belongs two generations earlier: Porsche's 964 911 America Roadster of 1992 and 1993, a Turbo-bodied, Turbo-sprung cabriolet made for the North American market in a run of exactly 250 cars, echoing the 356 America Roadster. The 996 range contains no such model — its open cars are the Carrera Cabriolet, Carrera 4 Cabriolet, Carrera 4S Cabriolet and Turbo Cabriolet. This entry exists only because the roster carries the id across generations; every specification field is intentionally null.
