911 GT3 RS

2003–2004Coupé

The 996 GT3 RS was the lightest and most focused normally aspirated 996: the Mk2 GT3's 381 PS flat-six and six-speed manual in a body trimmed to 1,360 kg through thinner glass, lightweight composites and the deletion of rear seats. It carried red-accented graphics, lightweight bucket seats and 18-inch forged wheels, reached 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and topped out at 306 km/h. Built in 682 examples across the 2003 and 2004 model years, coupé only, it revived the RS name for the first time since the air-cooled era.
