911 Millennium Edition

2000Coupé

For the turn of the millennium Porsche dressed a Carrera 4 in Violet Chromaflair — a paint that shifts from deep violet towards green as the light changes — over natural caramel leather with dark burr maple trim and chrome 18-inch Turbo Twist wheels. A numbered console plate and a '911' badge on the engine lid marked each car out. Just 911 examples were built for model year 2000, each with the 300 PS 3.4-litre flat-six and permanent all-wheel drive, in six-speed manual or Tiptronic form: a collector's specification rather than a performance statement.
