911 Turbo

2000–2005Coupé · Cabriolet

Launched in spring 2000 with VINs assigned to model year 2001, the 996 Turbo used the GT2's 3.6-litre twin-turbo flat-six in road-trimmed form: 420 PS and 563 Nm, routed through all-wheel drive into a 1,540 kg coupé. It reached 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and ran to 304 km/h, with ceramic composite brakes optional and 18-inch Turbo Twist wheels under Turbo-look bodywork fed by its side intakes. A Cabriolet followed, and the run closed with the 450 PS Turbo S.
