911 Carrera 4S

The Carrera 4S combined the wide body of the Turbo — broader rear wings, 19-inch wheels — with the naturally aspirated 3.8-litre flat-six and all-wheel drive. Output followed the S line of the range: 355 PS (350 hp) from 2005, 381 PS (376 hp) with the X51 Powerkit from 2006, and 385 PS (380 hp) once direct injection arrived in 2008, with 420 Nm (310 lb-ft) at 4,400 rpm. The 997.2 coupé covered 0–100 km/h in 4.7 s with the manual or 4.5 s with PDK, and reached a 298 km/h (185 mph) maximum — marginally below the rear-drive Carrera S. PASM, the red reflector strip between the tail lamps and the Turbo-style rear end are its visual and chassis signatures.
