911 GT3 RS 4.0

2011Coupé

The GT3 RS 4.0 was a 2011 limited edition based on the GT3 RS but equipped with a 4.0-litre flat-six — the largest displacement engine ever installed in a series-production 911 at the time. It developed 500 PS (493 hp) at 8,250 rpm, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 310 km/h (193 mph), while 460 Nm (339 lb-ft) was available at 5,750 rpm. The engine used the crankshaft of the GT3 RSR racing car, raising the stroke from 76.4 to 80.4 mm. Deliveries began in May 2011: 600 cars were built, all painted with the RS logo in Carrera White, GT Silver Metallic or Black.
