911 Carrera GTS

2010–2012Coupé · Cabriolet

The Carrera GTS was introduced to fill the gap between the Carrera S and the GT3, using a 408 PS (402 hp) version of the 3.8-litre direct-injection flat-six in a wide body shared with the Carrera 4S. It was launched as a rear-drive coupé and cabriolet with a 193 mm (7.6 in) wider track and centred exhaust pipes, and from May 2011 the all-wheel-drive Carrera 4 GTS joined the range. Coupés rode on lightweight 19-inch Spyder wheels, the cabriolets on 20-inch Turbo wheels, and the interior mixed Alcantara with a sports exhaust that raised the note under load. Between 2010 and 2012 Porsche built 6,947 examples.
