911 Turbo S 3.3

1989Coupé

The 1989 Turbo S was the ultimate factory 930: a standard-body Coupé carrying the 930/66S engine, which used higher-compression pistons, a larger K27 turbocharger and wastegate, a 1.5-bar intercooler, a front-mounted oil cooler and a quad-tip exhaust to lift output from 300 to 330 PS (243 kW) and torque from 430 to 467 Nm. Top speed rose to 270 km/h (168 mph). It also gained a five-speed G50 with limited-slip differential, a 7,000-rpm rev counter and a 300 km/h speedometer. Just 55 were built for 1989, 42 of them reserved for German customers.
